History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Arnold was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Arnold's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Margery grew up listening to her mother's many stories. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
