Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a black shirt with thin white vertical stripes and black pants. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Roger was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Locksmith. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
