Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Melissa was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Melissa decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jane grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jane. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Jane was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact

Description: A plain young-adult man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull grey iron scale mail. He wears his auburn hair up. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
