History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Joan grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Joan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Joan. Being a Cook kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born in the west. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Dyer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Brewer responsibilities is difficult.
