History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thomas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thomas. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She has auburn hair. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are green.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Roofer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Courier. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new courier responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adam does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To protect his home; and to clean up the streets
