History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Thomas was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Alexandre was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She has all her life been fascinated with singing.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gifted student she started as a Cartwright, but she got bored and became a Courier. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
