History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: He stands about 6'1" and wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has white hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His black hair is braided into rings. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants to work out more often
