History: Arnold was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Arnold alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
