History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: Vicky was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
