History: Born to a Herbalist, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.
