Theodoric was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
