History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Katherine was born with her mother's beautiful face. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new butcher responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and a deep hatred of gnolls
