Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She worked as a nervous Mortician and found it very stressful. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Geoffrey was born the youngest of three triplets. Geoffrey was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Geoffrey decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Sybil's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she desires power and/or immortality
