Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. After months of barely getting by, Anne managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is a great chef.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult.
