History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Emmeline was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
