Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. The war was a terrible time for her, and Agnes does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Agnes was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
