History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
