History: Rosalind hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rosalind was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Theodoric speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
