Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Aline was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Aline decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and balancing his hectic life and new hunter responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she has money and likes to spend it
