Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many violet ritualistic tattoos. He dresses in green turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with brown slacks. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Norman embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Apothecary but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Norman was born the youngest of three triplets. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A gifted student he started as a Slave Trader, but he got bored and became a Fisher. He has achieved small success as a Fisher.
Motivation: Expand his business.

Description: She is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. With wild black hair. She has hazel eyes and a black hat with a blue feather.
Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and retire the richest woman in the west

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. She has styled her chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
