Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and revenge

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She has moderate length blonde hair. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rosamund embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and retire the richest woman in the west
