Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with his Ploughman mother left him crippled. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and to reunite with his old friends

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She tends to her Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to raise her children well
