History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ralf was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mayor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Ralf was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Gifted from a young age, Justin studied abroad. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for him, and Heward does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the south to a Bricklayer, Heward learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heward was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now owns his own business.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At some point she was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and a deep hatred of gnolls
