Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in monstrous two handed axe use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sarah lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
