He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Beggar.
