History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hadwisa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hadwisa. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Miller. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the south to a Miller, Hugolina learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. Her addictions have taken their toll on her wallet, and she has found herself with a great deal of debt owed.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Melissa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Bowyer father left her crippled. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bowyer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Spy, and she later adopted a second son.
