History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His childhood dream was to be a Miller, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his father before him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
