Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 52. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Avelina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
