History: Charles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born to a Blacksmith, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She's also a talented Blacksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Description: A middle-aged man, he typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor, and is pretty ugly. He has styled his black hair well, parting it to the left. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gunter is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His first spouse was a Marshal, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
