History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She bought a longbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
