History: Gerard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
