History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bather arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
