History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Matilda and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 18. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Balimaar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balimaar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
