History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Emeny was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Emeny was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Emeny's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Oriel has worked very hard to control her curse. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Yvonne was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Yvonne and her spouse have recently divorced.
