Personality: Shane wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Shane was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shane's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
