Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a grey shirt, with a pastel mid length shorts with pastel tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Balimaar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has wavy black hair. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: Randal is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Randal hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She usually wears her red robe and has her dagger always slung over her shoulder. Her brown hair is greasy and uncared for. Her eyes are violet and beady.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and she is unsatisfied with her job
