Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. History: Gifted from a young age, Dean studied abroad. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Ralf is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Ralf was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His first spouse was a Engraver, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. A true patriot, Rosamund would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born in the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and revenge

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.
