Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. The war was a terrible time for him, and Charles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Charles was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
