Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ahlyssa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in bow use. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
