History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Heward never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Barrister profession.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Eloise and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants revenge against drow; and to be a barrister again

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a shortbow on his belt, and is pretty ugly. He has styled his golden hair well, parting it to the left. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Performer. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
