History: Patrick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has worked as a Knight like his mother before him.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and doesn't want to be a knight and was forced into it by his family

The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
