History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Bernard was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Weaver. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and balancing her hectic life and new junk dealer responsibilities is difficult
