Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor. His hair is long and silver with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

Description: This man stands a little under 6'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He has a large green mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his grey robe. His brown hair is knotted and matted. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
