History: Margery was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Margery began to lead the lost caravan. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

History: Mary hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Mary was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
