History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jacoba fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Jocelyn was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
