He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. His ears are large.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He tends to his Dilettante job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
