History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
