Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Joan never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
