History: Jane lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Spice Merchant, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Eleanor's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Eleanor alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and many giants want her driven away

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has worked as a Bookbinder like his mother before him.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelaide fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
