History: Matilda lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and many giants want him driven away
